Why do people ask for advice ?

Then when you give them an answer that you have had experience in and you know its the best answer they give you thumbs down?





I dont even give people thumbs down NEVER i read the answers over 3 times before i make my decission.





It took me allot of thinking to give a good answer on a question and i go back to read other answers and i get thumbs down.Why do people ask for advice ?
Some people do it just for their 'amusement'. They're just being silly or maybe jealous on your answer, who knows?Why do people ask for advice ?
Most of the time it is not the person asking the question. If you give them an answer that they do not like they will give you a thumbs down. They do not want the truth they just want someone to agree with them. It is usually the trolls that are going through and giving all the good answers a thumbs down. I know it is aggravating when you really give a good answer and you get thumbs down. It happens all the time. Good luck!!!
They're just jealous because someone already have a better answer. Some don't really want the questioner to pick it as the BEST. OR Sometimes the answers are long and boring OR sometimes the answer has a teeny bit incorrect grammar, spelling, sentence, etc.
Jealous mate, you get people that are quite prepared to sit behind a P.C. and make comments they would not make ';Face to Face';
They are probably jealous because you gave a better answer than them.
people ask for advice because they dont want to go astray as no one is a fountain of knowledge
Children whose only goal here is points and their little buddies points.
no point really, the thumbs down option shud be taken away
