Why do people think this automatically?Any advice?

I am seeing the election since the primaries, and was supporting Hillary, but now I am supporting McCain, I was leaning to Obama and made some more reaserch and now I am leaning to McCain, and I think McCain, becuase he is more exeperienced and won't make as many mistakes. I mean anyone would make mistakes just that he will be the one with the less mistakes. BUT the problem is that many people that see me supporting McCain/Palin, start to say I am racist, but I am not, I like Obama and think he is great, just don't think his policies and record aren't that good, its more of the issues I am looking at, my question is how can I support McCain/Palin without people saying I am racist? Anyone please give me advice, everytime I support them people right away critisize me becuase of that and often crush my spirit, I want to keep supporting the McCain/Palin ticket without the other supporters being angry and screaming at me for absolutely NO reason. THANKS.Why do people think this automatically?Any advice?
Just tell them the truth,

you are afraid of communism. All Obama is doing is the same old tired policy of any liberal democract; ';Help the little people!!!!!'; Well it failed in the now FORMER USSR, it's former because it was that same help everyone attitude that make all communist policies fail. So what if Obama got asbestos out of housing projects? Doesn't mean we can afford to use tax money to pay for everyone's health care, housing, special programs, etc... etc... etc... blah blah blah blah. You want to get ahead, it starts at home! Don't like gas prices? Invest in re-creating Stanley Meyer's hho fuel injector like I am. Energy is our biggest problem.

RECAP; if you help the people too much they will depend on it, they will be like the weak caribou who worry not of the wolf's attack. The caribou became strong when the wolf came to Alaska. It made their race better. Who do you trust? What kind of children will be born in the future? These are important to people I'd hope. Why do people think this automatically?Any advice?
If your voting for John McCain because you believe in the principles and his stance on the issues, then fine. My surprise is that if you were a Hillary supporter, how can you now support McCain. Their ideologies and stances on the issues are extremely far apart. You either don't care about the issues or deep down inside you have some racist tendencies.
Do some more research on Obama. He's the much better candidate than McCain/Palin.

Also, think about this--McCain has melanoma, a deadly skin cancer. He could die in a year. Do you really want Palin as president? Think how scary that would be. The dems would stonewall and nothing would get done with her in charge.
we are all in the same boat my friend. But it should give you hope that not all Obama supporters think that way. And, contrary, to popular belief most McCain supporters deplore stupid comments about killing Obama
I don't think you're a racist. But if you're a woman who supports McCain/Palin, then look forward to losing your right to choose, or to read certain books, or to live in a peaceful, clean world.
what? you are now for Mccain because you dont believe in Obamas policies? DUDE OBAMA AND HILLARY HAVE THE SAME POLICIES

you never been a Hillary supporter
supporting hillary and now mccain?

traitor flip flop
Sen. McCain discounts experience. I wouldn't vote for him for that reason.
I know. My husband, who is a lot better person than me and has no animosity toward blacks, has been accused of being racists and literally cursed out at his job! Me on the other hand, do have some bit of animosity toward the LOWER-CLASS blacks after being raped by a black, pedophile creep, but even with that being said, I considered voting for Obama until I did some research. I think people use that term to psychologically try and sway voters toward Obama. Just do your own research and don't pay attention to what they think about you; they may be only voting on Obama for prejudice reasons.
I cannot see how you supported Hillary and are now supporting McCain. They are 180 degrees different on policy. Obama is very closely aligned to Clinton politics.

As far as making mistakes, McCain made a colossal blunder in picking Palin as a running mate. its not even open to discussion, she's a disaster and we all know it. If he cant get that right, who's to say what he's going to do with supreme court justices, ambassadors, generals, etc?

Sorry, Im going for the intellectual who has the country's best interests at heart.

Obama 08
where are you that people are like that?! i don't know anyone who's ever said something like that. mostly obama supporters think that mccain supporters support mccain because they aren't that informed on the issues and/or have bought in to mccain's lies about obama and his plans and record.

personally, i can't see how anyone could vote for someone who lies like that - when you can't trust a word out of somebody's mouth how can you trust him to run the country?

i see a dishonest person as a HUGE threat. if you're always honest, you can do no harm (save refraining from truths that are overly offensive and other social etiquttes). if you're not so restrained by your conscious, there's no telling what you can do. i piss off a dishonest person and the next day i might find everyone thinking i'm some kind of axe murderer because the guy told everyone that to get back at me - so all the sudden, i'm paying the consequences of being an axe murder, after having done absolutely nothing wrong! dishonesty is a threat that -- by its very nature -- is unpredictable and, more importantly, unlimited. now that's the kind of threat that i want to stay far away from. and the kind of threat that i want to keep far away from the oval office.
