People, I need some advice please help !?

Ok I will try to keep it short. I am a FIRM believer in what goes around comes around. My son went to visit my mom yesterday and while he was out fishing for minnows the kid down the street pointed a pellet gun at him and shot him right in the arm. My son screams out ( he's 10 ) in pain one of the kids comes running saying don't tell don't tell, we were aiming for you calf. mean while the kid who pulled the trigger takes off. This is the 2nd time my son has been shot with a pellet gun. The first time I let it go but today I am going to press charges on these kids. my question is should I? I don't want to bring bad karma Maybe I should let it go. CUz I know my boy will sooner or later get him self in trouble and I would prolly hope for lenience. What should I do? ( by the way this kids parents are REALLY rude and hate full people who are NEVER wrong and the same kid has even hit my son before.)People, I need some advice please help !?
standing up for your kid is never wrong. Its sets a great example for all in my opinion - by continually letting your kid get bullied or not standing up for what is right - in my opinion would be MORE wrong because your kid is learning to be passive. There is a time to turn the other cheek and forgive, but we must also teach kids to stand up for what is right.People, I need some advice please help !?
Once shame on them.....

Twice shame on you...........

They were aiming at him...

Thats not a accident........

I would press charges, and NOT talk to the parents.

The charges are against the boys....it too bad the parents didnt give proper training on the use of a gun and will be responsible for the damages.

they should have thought of that at the time they gave a child a gun.
Two options:

1 - call the police now.

2 - talk to the parents, explain that this has happened before, and you should have said something then. But if anything else happens, you will contact the police.

Good luck..
Go for it. They'll probably get off with a warning, but if they do not learn a bit of discipline now they will finish up in a lot more trouble later.
well you should report them they should not be doing that
i think u should go for it. ///////
It is the mindset behind your actions that will keep your ';karma'; in balance. If you bring charges as an act of vengeance, then your balance could be affected.

Have the Powers set this cycle of ';the way things are to be'; in motion in order for you to intervene, maybe changing the boy's life for the better by following through with the charges? If you fail to obey the Powers, worse could come your way and the boy's way. To each action there is a reaction and you could the one slated by Fate to initiate the reaction. Maybe the pellet gun will be taken away if you react, saving some kid's eye from being shot out in the future.

Again, you have to examine your motives and be certain that they are not vengeful. Vengeance is a negative karma and will bring the attention of negative influences toward you.
You need to report these kids and their parents. Kids that age should not be running around unsupervised with any kind of gun. If you don't report this it might come back on you when this kid shoots someone in the eye. The police will think well why did she report it when it happened to her kid. Seriously report it now before someone gets seriously hurt. Protect not only your kid but, the other children in the neighborhood as well. Plus if their is a kid in your neighborhood that gets seriously hurt then you will feel guilty for not reporting this incident.

Press charges they are minors so they will probable get off on community service and maybe learn their lesson because from the way it seem the parents aren't going to do anything.
No, you shouldn't be letting stuff like that go. That pellet could have struck your kid in the eye and he would be blind in that eye - at best. The kid with the pellet gun needs to be punished severely before he really injures someone. The parents of that kid also need a good talking to as they should have made sure to teach their kid not to point (or shoot) weapons of any kind at people and they should be supervising him/her at all times if they are going to let them use a pellet gun.
