If your boss fired you for something which he allowed, I'd say you have quite the case for the labour board. They would be very interested in what you have to say.

The idea is to be as brief as possible when explaining as you don't want a pile of time spent on that when you want your best foot forward.

Everyone has experiences with employers which are less than great and have to try to hide the worst parts when being interviewed for a new job.

You can say you felt the position or place was the wrong one for you. That at least makes you a discerning person. Someone who is awake to the reality of a situation. You can also say there was a clerical error on their part which makes it look that you were fired, something they cannot change once they have filed it with the government.

And then think of something to say which will make it look like this new place is so above that one because of ------.

And be real about it.

To a certain extent you have to play it by ear. Just have some answers ready.

Most employers do not do a CPIC on employees where they would find out if they were fired or quit. Just, if you are going to lie, don't make it a huge lie.How can i explain resignation during interview. hr people please help, or anyone with good advice?
You know on the job application when they ask if they can contact your last employer? Well mark no. Then if they ask, your explanation will be the only one they will get. Just make sure they can call all the other jobs that you have held.
