After months and months of thinking I had plaster beetles in my flat and taking advice from people and following it etc, I have recently caught one of theser horrible little beetles and taken it to the council for pest control to identify and it is NOT and I repeat NOT a plaster beetle, I cant remember the name the council gave me they are posting the information out to me tonight but it is a beetle that you mainly find in a birds nest sor something its called. Anyway the council are coming out on monday to check my roof space for birds nest so hopefully if they find one get rid and the beetles will die out hopefully! Glad that my advice worked. It is likely to be either a varied carpet beetle or one of the dermestid beetles. Both live in old birds nests in the roof space. I hope the council man points out all the entry points for you and please make sure that these get blocked up to stop more birds entering the roof once all the nests have been treated %26amp; removed.
